Chapter 81: Third

 Ddd.

A low, echoing voice shook the space. The boy, who turned his body on the vibrating floor, looked at Inyeong in front of him. In the dark space inside the robe, dozens, hundreds of pupils rolled. The boy who saw him shrugged casually.

Living here, the boy had grown taller, the smoke had increased, and cheekiness had increased.

"Well, I still have something to gain from you."

"You've probably already compensated with what you said?"

"You didn't say much, did you? Originally, if there was no room, you wouldn't have come here. That's the kind of existence you are."

Give me a favor.

The boy laughed cheekily. The presence that saw the boy who no longer feared meeting eyes with him closed its eyes slowly. Dozens of pupils formed a crescent moon shape. It was a creepy sight.

"For the sake of entertainment, it wouldn't be bad. However, this will be the last time."

"Hey, I'm not a petty person, and I'm afraid I'll get into trouble with just one cheat. This should be enough."

At the words of the one in the robe, the boy who spoke with a smirk sat down. The presence shook hands with the boy who had sunk down. The space that was crumbling returned to its original state as if time had turned back. It was amusing to see me breaking and fixing it. The boy who felt even the cracks closing thought of the person he had thrown into the gap.

Anyway, it's a lot of work.

I don't know who the young person is. I wasn't confident, but Yoo Sihyun was a stagnant presence. A person who didn't grow up, who remained in the same place. To the boy who had seen Sihyun's life more than anyone else, it seemed so. Sihyun, who also considered the boy who remained in place in a different sense, frowned.

"Why aren't you leaving?"

"Kang Sihyun, do you still have no regrets?"

"I don't."

"...We'll see about that."

Ddd.

The carefully fixed space shook again at his voice. When the boy who spoke with a sinister tone turned slowly, the giant robe fluttered. The boy quickly closed his eyes.

The sound of the wind became muffled, and then a strong wind rushed at the boy. The boy covered his face with his hands against the wind that pushed him backward. When the wind stopped, and he opened his eyes again, only an empty space was visible.

"...They say you can't do this kind of thing many times."

The lying boy raised his head, feeling his fingertips trembling. The view was pitch black. When Sihyun opened his eyes again, the space gradually brightened, and the boy who felt the space brightening raised the corners of his mouth.

Since he took the risk and gave advice.

Now it was time to watch quietly.

"Sihyun!"

When Sihyun showed signs of getting up, the school principal was the first to react. Sihyun, who was blinking his eyes to adjust to the light, frowned at the artificial light that dazzled him.

"Sihyun, are you okay?"

"Oh, where is this?"

When Sihyun spoke, looking around after blinking his eyes several times, the principal asked. Sihyun, with a thoughtful expression, looked at the direction of the voice, realizing that this place was neither the dorm nor the principal's office. The face of the principal, a mix of surprise and relief, appeared.

"...Where am I?"

Sihyun put his hand on his neck in surprise. His voice sounded unfamiliar to the point of being stifled. After a moment of hesitation, the principal breathed a sigh of relief.

"It's the infirmary. Sihyun fainted suddenly, and we brought you here urgently, but no one knows the reason for the fainting."

'Sure.'

It would be the first time for someone to have an imprint beyond their body's tolerance. In the case of others, once they complete the imprint suitable for their body, the mark is erased, making it impossible for other imprints. Sihyun, who thought of it as a mere palmistry, looked down at his body, not feeling any pain. There were three energies felt in his body, but there was no pain. The boy who watched the boy throw the person under the gap realized the person he had thrown in.

At least Kang Sihyun had not said anything unnecessary. So the information I heard from him this time was likely important.

Although I don't know who 'that' he mentioned is....

There is a presence that seems to be stuck in that black space, but I wonder where it gathers information. There was no clue about the existence that Sihyun mentioned abruptly. The information I obtained suddenly couldn't find a place in Sihyun's mind, flying around in confusion. It was always like this. Meeting only Kang Sihyun and then coming back, the questions in my mind became heavier, making it confusing.

"Sihyun, are you okay?"

"Oh, yes...."

When Sihyun, who seemed lost in thought for a while, finally answered with a thoughtful expression, the principal asked. Sihyun, who thought he had received enough worries during this past month, answered softly and closed his eyes.

As long as Kang Sihyun doesn't meet again, it seems difficult to solve these problems.

Putting off these current concerns until then, Sihyun, who made up his mind, clenched and opened his hands repeatedly. His senses were sharp. The trembling of his hands seemed to have completely disappeared.

Sihyun opened his eyes wide. I fainted on the evening of the 26th, and when I woke up, a day had passed. Sihyun, who had been unconscious for so long without realizing it, mumbled as the principal gently stroked his chin.

"It seems you're okay now. Are there any painful areas?"

"No."

"Do you know why you fainted?"

"No. Maybe it's because I wasn't feeling well."

"...Indeed, you did mention that your body wasn't feeling well when you first awakened."

Ouch, his conscience hurt. Sihyun cleared his throat as he remembered the teacher's words, which he had thought were lies at the time. It felt strange to see what had been conceptualized turning into reality.

Come to think of it, the others must have caused a commotion.

The A-class students, who had been buzzing with excitement from the ship, were the ones causing a ruckus again. If they heard about my fainting this time, they might not just overly protect me; they might actually lock me in a room for real. Then they would probably provide meals with phrases like "Inmate number 728, eat!" and pretend not to know about freedom. In Sihyun's view, they were people who could do that.

He let out a sigh just thinking about it.

Sihyun, exhausted even by the thought, made a groaning sound. His eyes turned to the closed door beyond the principal. Maybe the kids were waiting for him behind that door.

"Do the other kids know that I fainted?"

"I've only told the kids sharing the same room as you."

I see.

In my room, there was Haewoon Kang. If Haewoon knew, the whole A-class would know. Sihyun tried to predict what would happen next, considering Haewoon's uncompromising nature. It seemed like it would be troublesome for a few days.

"Um, is it okay if I leave now?"

"It's fine for you to stay longer."

"There's no pain now. I think I need to practice my new skills."

"...Are you talking about going to the training ground?"

"Yes."

Hmm, the principal, who stroked his chin with his fingers, seemed to be pondering. Sihyun nodded when he seemed to have reached a decision. He got off the bed. As soon as he stepped on the floor, his body swayed momentarily. It was due to the sudden dizziness that struck him. When he leaned against the wall and barely managed to support himself, the principal's eyes narrowed. Sihyun, thinking that the kids might be waiting for him behind that door, quickly left the infirmary, almost escaping.

"Kang Sihyun."

When he opened the health office door and came out, he saw the A-class kids waiting in front of the door. Sihyun awkwardly raised his hand at them.

"Hello."

"Are you crazy?"

Instead of trying to lighten the mood, he only received curses. He tried to casually start a conversation to change the topic from fainting to something else, but it seemed difficult. Sihyun looked at Hamin, who had sworn at him, and blinked when he saw Hamin muttering curses. Hamin's gaze met Sihyun's, and he cleared his throat.

"Why are you staring like that?"

"Just."

"Well."

"I was wondering if you were worried."

"Huh."

It seemed like he spoke out of lingering concern. Hamin raised his voice as if to say, "I said it because I felt sorry." Seeing Hamin, who looked upset, Sihyun suddenly remembered Kang Sihyun's words.

Somewhere, it sounded like someone was telling him not to define things according to his own standards.

Quietly, looking at Hamin, the one who looked uncomfortable, Sihyun took a step back.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Just."

"What."

"I thought you might be worried."

"Huh."

It seemed like he said it because he seemed reluctant. Watching his expression that seemed serious, Daun, who had been watching him blankly, took a step back as he left.

"Sorry, Daun is a bit sensitive these days. Even if he looks like that, he kept worrying until you woke up."

Hyewon, acting as a spokesperson, apologized and followed Daun. Looking at their backs, Sihyun blinked at the thought.

Whether I got caught or they are confused.

I don't know what it is, but it seemed certain that Daun was feeling confused about him. Sihyun, who was lost in thought, looked at the remaining people in the study group. Haewoon was still leaning against the wall, and Gunwoo and Seowoo were looking at him with similar expressions. They seemed unsure of how to handle him.

When he thought about it as if it were just one day, someone below suddenly stood up.

Step by step, a boy approaching Sihyun stared at him for a day. Sihyun observed him silently. When he saw that he didn't stop walking even when he tilted his head in confusion, his steps finally stopped. After a while, he turned his back without raising his red eyes, reaching out to hug him.

"Hyung?"

Surprised, Sihyun called him, and the boy buried his head on Sihyun's shoulder. The boy, who seemed like he would worry a lot like before, just hugged him without saying a word.
