Draco Malfoy is currently in a state of panic.
The boy was trembling violently, almost on the verge of dropping the poor toad he was holding.
In Draco's mind, he should have smoothly obtained the information about the Hogwarts secret passage and received various praises, rather than standing in a corner shaking while holding a sticky toad.
Vincent Crabbe, who came with him, was trembling even more than him. He was now standing in a defensive stance, looking fearfully ahead.
Comparatively, Gregory Goyle, another companion, was somewhat luckier in a sense. At least for now, he wouldn't feel frightened anymore because—he had already collapsed unconscious on the ground.
Near the compartment's entrance, a delicate-faced silver-haired girl rubbed her forehead, crossed Goyle's body, and leisurely walked towards the two of them, her eyes full of playful mischief akin to a cat toying with a mouse.
Bang! Bang!
Ah!
Accompanied by several dull thuds of flesh hitting flesh and Crabbe's unrestrained groans of pain, Crabbe, who had rushed forward, staggered weakly and collapsed heavily onto the compartment's carpet.
Gurgle~
Draco swallowed hard and lifted his head. The silver-haired demon with beautiful lake-blue eyes smiled brightly at him.
"It's just you left, Draco..."
Why...
When exactly...
Draco began to rack his brains, trying to recall when all of this turned into the current situation...
...
Let's rewind time a few minutes.
Draco had just opened the compartment door...
"Yes, this is it. You kind students, come in and have a seat."
Ignoring the nervous expression on little Malfoy's face, Elena raised her head slightly, beckoning to the two chubby figures behind him, smiling gently.
"Ha, I knew it! The train attendant auntie clearly mentioned it's in this compartment."
Standing behind little Malfoy, the chubby figure without anything in hand grinned happily, patting Draco's shoulder, puzzled, "Hey, what's wrong with you, buddy?"
"Nothing... Crabbe, let's go in."
Draco Malfoy regained his composure, not to mention that it had been nearly a month since the incident in Diagon Alley.
As the heir of the noble and elegant Malfoy family, he was openly helping his classmates now, and he had two little partners fighting side by side. There was nothing to fear.
Thinking this, little Malfoy's expression regained its pride and confidence. He gestured for Crabbe to move aside Elena and the three of them entered directly, curiously surveying the scene inside the compartment.
The table in the compartment was piled with various snacks and books. Besides Elena, there were three other young wizards of a similar age to little Malfoy.
Draco Malfoy could sense that as he and Elena entered after pushing through, all the young wizards were looking at him with a mix of fear and a hint of admiration. This admiration scratched just the right spot on the boy's vanity.
"Oh, this is Crabbe, and this is Goyle."
Draco casually gestured, raising his chin, proudly introducing himself, "I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. As you can see, I've brought the toad. Now, who will tell me about the Hogwarts secret passage?"
Ahem.
Standing behind the three, Elena coughed lightly. "That's right, I promised this. But first, we need to verify if this is the right toad."
As she spoke, Elena rubbed her shoulder, curiously examining Malfoy. This troublesome child really shouldn't have been sorted into Gryffindor, displaying such commendable courage. How dare he push her?
"Verification? That requirement wasn't there before."
Draco furrowed his brow, quickly turning around, looking displeased.
"That's correct, I just added that condition a second ago."
Elena shrugged, slowly responding, her gaze passing beyond Draco's pale face and pointing back, "Gregory, is this the toad you found, not someone else's pet?"
"I think so... I'm not sure. I have to ask Neville, I mean, the toad's owner, Neville Longbottom."
Hermione carefully examined the yellow-green toad in Crabbe's hand, answering hesitantly.
"Hey! Take a closer look!"
Goyle unhappily reached out, grabbing Hermione's arm, attempting to pull her up from her seat.
"Don't touch her!"
Even before Goyle's hand could reach Hermione, Elena swiftly rushed forward, appearing between the two, raising her arm to block him, glaring coldly at the chubby figure in front of her, coldly saying, "Speak properly, no physical aggression."
Elena glanced at the brown-haired girl hiding behind her, nodding towards the door, "Hermione, bring Neville over to check, we'll wait here for you."
"But..."
Hermione Granger slowly regained her composure, hesitatingly glancing at the atmosphere inside the compartment.
"You're allowed to go!" Elena furrowed her brow.
"Oh. You two, don't fight..."
Glancing nervously at Goyle and Crabbe, Hermione nodded obediently and hurriedly ran out.
"Stop! Neither of you can leave."
Goyle yelled roughly, trying to intercept Hermione.
Unfortunately, Elena once again skillfully blocked his path, stopping him.
"Move, don't obstruct."
Repeatedly hindered, the chubby boy's face showed a hint of anger. He stretched out his hand, forcefully swinging it forward, hitting Elena's arm with a loud smack, pushing the girl backward a step.
"What are you doing!?"
"Bullying a girl, is that a skill?!"
At this moment, Harry and Ron finally reacted. Both stood up abruptly, loudly reprimanding.
As Ron and Harry stood up, Crabbe directly tossed the toad to Malfoy, eagerly watching the two.
"Oh, you guys want to fight, huh?"
Draco Malfoy sneered, arms crossed,
Looking around, after Hermione left, it was now three against three. Three boys on their side, and two boys plus a girl on the other.
Crabbe and Goyle were much bigger than Harry and Ron. If that girl didn't display magic like last time, Draco was confident they could handle it.
"This is our compartment, if you want to fight, come at us."
Harry said, though inside, he wasn't as brave as he appeared. But since his friend was being bullied, he had to toughen up. As he spoke, Harry signaled to Ron, and the two of them tacitly stood in front of Elena, facing off against the sturdy Goyle and Crabbe.
"Hey, you two little boys who aren't even as tall as me, what are you trying to prove?"
As the silver-haired little girl stood protected by the two, she softened her gaze, reached out, and ruffled the hair of the boys in front of her, saying unkindly, pulling the two apart and casually walking to the forefront.
"Hey, chubby, you attacked me first, didn't you? And trying to bully Hermione?"
Elena flexed her fists, unkindly saying with a slight trembling in her voice, restraining her excitement and malice. Glancing at the back of her left hand, the smooth skin showed no marks.
"So what?"
Goyle sneered, indifferent.
"No big deal. I just want to say, thank you."
The girl smiled lightly, her eyes suddenly sharpening as she recalled Benedictus' words.
"When fighting, don't think about flashy stuff, just land a solid punch first for an advantage."
Suddenly, Elena shifted her weight, stepping forward, pivoting her knee and forcefully striking Goyle's abdomen.
Bang!
A dull thud echoed in the compartment.
"Ugh..."
Goyle's eyes bulged, his body bending over like a boiled shrimp. His stomach felt like it had been hit by a sledgehammer, causing intense turmoil.
Before he could react, Elena grabbed the chubby boy's shoulders, shifting her weight forward, and drove her knee mercilessly into the boy's chest.
Thud!
"Don't..."
In the midst of the muffled sound, Goyle was in so much pain he almost stopped breathing. This beating, unlike any he had experienced, brought tears to the chubby boy's eyes. In a daze, he looked up and suddenly found a clear forehead growing larger in his sight—bang!
"Tch, can't take a punch."
Elena shook her slightly dizzy head, casually throwing Goyle, who had lost consciousness, onto the ground, disdainfully commenting.
Being an orphanage-raised child, fighting was commonplace, especially for Elena as the big sister protecting other orphanage kids from being bullied. Under the guidance of her brotherhood-raised dad, Benedictus, and the enhanced physical abilities from her half-Veela heritage, Elena had extensive experience in getting along with these rascals, almost as much as the big fish in the lake, except in a combat setting.
Gurgle~ x4
Seeing Goyle collapse in less than three seconds, and the intimidating aura emanating from the silver-haired little girl, the four boys in the compartment collectively swallowed hard.
Ron and Harry, who were about to rush to help, exchanged glances, catching a glimpse of each other's relieved expressions. Embarrassed, they retracted the steps they were about to take—thinking about it carefully, they hadn't done anything to upset Elena.
Elena squinted happily, not having been in a fight since reluctantly agreeing to Dumbledore's unbreakable vow. It had been a while. Unfortunately, these magic-born boys were too easy to beat. It was a shame that they looked so tough in the original story.
"So, who's next..."
The silver-haired girl lifted her head, revealing a cute little fang, looking excitedly at the shivering Crabbe and Draco, licked her lips like a devil whispering, softly saying.
"Since you want to fight, I suggest you, first learn to throw a punch."
