"Horn Ting exclaimed in astonishment, 'Isn't this too risky?'"

"Tang Xuhai said resolutely, 'It's the only way for us to have a chance. Miao Jia can get this information through satellite communication and internet, but Shi Zheng, who has conflicts with the military district, won't receive any warning. This makes them lax in their defenses. When the evolved aliens appear, as long as there's a flaw in Pingnan Prison, it's enough for us to turn the tables!'"

"Currently, Pingnan Prison has gathered over 20,000 people, but three-quarters of them are suffering from enslavement. Among the remaining 5,000, there are several hundred with supernatural abilities, and the rest are mutants."

"Though these people are under Shi Zheng's command, some joined him enticed by benefits, while others were forced to join with their families held hostage. It's not a united front."

"As long as there's an opportunity, these people will surely rebel. That increases the chances of success for Tang Xuhai and his team."

"Fu Shiwu, with complex emotions, said, 'The situation in Pingnan Prison is vastly different from the storage center in Yuncity.'"

"It's a world of difference."

"'People, they are never satisfied creatures,' sighed Horn Ting."

"Under Shi Zheng's violent control, everyone in Pingnan Prison relies on him for survival, and it has erupted with immense power, enough to withstand the alien attacks and survive."

"However, the Yuncity, cared for wholeheartedly by the army, ended up scattered and fleeing, facing the disastrous defeat of a collapsing mountain. In the end, the people there did not struggle desperately for survival, and some even complained about the quality of their food."

"Due to Shi Zheng's ruthlessness, he could make ordinary people act as bait, set traps, lure out the evolved aliens, and then eliminate large groups of them at the cost of human lives. This was something the righteous military commanders in Yuncity couldn't bring themselves to do."

"Fu Shiwu's determination solidified. Since they've formulated the action plan, he would think according to Tang Xuhai's arrangement."

"At night, if we release the evolved aliens, it's not a sure thing. So, for safety, should we specifically lure a group of evolved aliens to Pingnan Prison?" Fu Shiwu asked seriously.

"Tang Xuhai was almost choked by saliva. Is it really necessary to be this crazy?"

"Fu Shiwu, however, confidently said, 'Don't gamble on uncertain things. Even if it's a one in a million chance, if no aliens fall into the prison, what do we do?'"

"Tang Xuhai's expression became strange. 'At night, Pingnan Prison will surely turn on the lights for defense. In the city, there might not be survivors, and even if there are, they won't turn on the lights at night. So, the aliens will definitely head towards the prison.'"

"Fu Shiwu finally understood Tang Xuhai's plan completely. He sighed in relief, 'That's good.'"

"'Evolved aliens...'" Horn Ting muttered, looking at the two with a complex expression.

"Tang Xuhai and Fu Shiwu have both killed evolved aliens with their own abilities, but Tang Xuhai hasn't experienced facing them head-on. To be honest, he was quite uneasy about it."

"Shi Zheng didn't know Tang Xuhai's plan, but he didn't plan to wait for Tang Xuhai to appear."

"Shi Zheng had people tie up Wen Zhaoming and others, hanging them outside the prison. He stood on the roof with a megaphone, shouting towards the prison, 'Tang Xuhai! If you're here, come out honestly. Don't think about playing tricks. I'll give you half an hour. If you don't surrender, I'll kill one of your companions!'"

"Shi Zheng looked at the people hanging below with a sinister smile. 'To show you that I'm not bluffing—' He pulled out a pistol and shot Wen Zhaoming's arm!"

"'Don't worry, I didn't hit a vital spot. Of course, if you don't come out after half an hour, then his bleeding to death is none of my concern~~' Shi Zheng said indifferently."

"Damn it!" Tang Xuhai gritted his teeth.

"Fu Shiwu couldn't bear to watch."

"Wen Zhaoming's prosthetic limbs had long disappeared, maybe someone deliberately threw them away to humiliate him. Below his knees, his pants fluttered in the wind. The scene was particularly heart-wrenching."

"Wen Zhaoming, with a pale face, said to Miao Jia, who was swinging next to him and seemed desperate to free herself, 'Miao Jia, save some strength.'"

"Miao Jia, with an anxious face, ignored his advice. 'No, I have to tell Brother Hai. We can't let them come to rescue us.'"

"Wen Zhaoming smiled bitterly. He had experienced Shi Zheng's ruthlessness and didn't expect Fu Shiwu and the others to come for a rescue now."

"Fu Shiwu couldn't bear it any longer. He lay beside Tang Xuhai, eyes vacant, and sensed straight towards the prison gate!"

"Tang Xuhai felt his body hair standing up. When he turned around, Fu Shiwu's eyes seemed lifeless, staring in the direction of the prison."

"After a while, Fu Shiwu sighed in relief. Wen Zhaoming's bleeding slowly decreased, just as Tang Xuhai had said – they wouldn't die immediately."

"Wait a bit more, just a bit more..."

"Fu Shiwu counted his heartbeats, waiting for Tang Xuhai's command."

"The time is almost up," Tang Xuhai said and stood up, walking towards the city gate.

"Shi Zheng, in a relaxed state, sat on a leisure chair not far from the prison gate, curiously watching the open door."

"Brother Shi, do you think that person will really come?" Jiang Hao wasn't entirely sure but didn't dare to doubt Shi Zheng's judgment. After all, according to the information, these people had only gathered together for a few days.

"If it's the person I know, he will definitely come back. Tang Xuhai..." Shi Zheng flicked the paper containing information about Tang Xuhai. "I didn't know his name before, but I understand the behavior pattern of people like him."

Shi Zheng smiled mysteriously. "There's a saying... not abandoning, not giving up. Heh heh~ Soldiers, especially those on special missions, adhere to this philosophy."

"Isn't that from a TV show?" Jiang Hao couldn't help glancing at Shi Zheng, whose smile became even more mysterious. Could someone really do that in reality?

"Oh~ here he comes." Shi Zheng's eyes lit up, looking straight at Tang Xuhai walking in front with two others behind him.

Shi Zheng stared at Tang Xuhai intently. The closer he got, the more memories flooded back. It was this person who led a team that killed all his well-trained subordinates, and in the end, captured him alive.

"Tang Xuh

ai, we finally meet," Shi Zheng stood up, chin raised, proudly looking at Tang Xuhai holding the dragon bone twin knives.

"Shi Zheng," Tang Xuhai stared intently at Shi Zheng.

Though there was still some distance between the two sides, their eye contact seemed to crackle with tension, akin to lightning.

Fu Shiwu couldn't care less about the infamous arms dealer who roamed East Asia for many years. Instead, his eyes were fixed, seemingly lifeless, on Miao Jia hanging above.

"Let's go! Don't mind us!" Miao Jia's face was full of urgency, sweat streaming down, appearing frantic.

"Miao Jia! Don't be afraid, we're here to rescue you," Fu Shiwu spoke, thinking she was scared.
